Suggested intro before showing the ShareFest video

“What you’re about to see are highlights from lasts year’s all-county ‘ShareFest.’
‘ShareFest’ is a collaborative effort of nearly 20 evangelical churches in Santa Cruz County!
As you’ll see, it invites us to community service that includes all kinds of work projects--things all ages can participate in!
You’ll also note that the work is intentionally done for the community (for example, public schools, shelters, public places, transition homes, etc.).
The reason for this is that we, the church, want to live out Matthew 5:16--“...let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”
Churches that have participated in ShareFest have made a positive impacts in their communities for the sake of the Gospel! It creates openings to be and share the ‘light’ of Jesus’ love! County officials, school leaders and several others have expressed much gratitude toward ShareFest.
Finally, ShareFest is great for building up the body-life of the church and in creating unity around a worthy purpose!
